Well hey there and welcome to my blog.
Every week I will post a moodboard to suit all the different hair and makeup styles I've done on brides in the past. Obviously my loves, these are just for fun are really just guides or see it as an aperitif to whet your appetite into the world of styles for women who are getting married. We've spend way too long on "bridal rules" they are unnecessary and old fashioned. Let us celebrate love with our own styles, not trying to conform to any archaic rules or gender boundaries.
If you feel totally badass in a suit and choose to stick two fingers up at tradition then I applaud you. Wearing a bridal suit not only looks amazing but can be comfortable and practical too! Another added bonus is that you can wear it again and again because who doesn't want to be environmentally friendly right?
Right, so lets talk about hair and makeup styling for this look - really there are no rules because you can do whatever you want but for ultimate impact I'd opt to keep there hair soft, light and airy. Flowing waves, a low messy bun or ponytail or if you have short hair then however you usually style it will look awesome. Makeup could be a smokey eye with glossy real looking skin or a naked eye and red lip, you could even team the two together because a smokey eye and red lip can look great together. You could even do a block colour glossy lip - dreamy! Go for a "no makeup makeup" and the full impact will come from the the beautiful tailoring.
I would recommend you pair the suit with a cute and simple pair of earrings like the ones featured from my friend Harriet @easthope.studio. Simple accessories are great with a suit, a light chain would also look amazing.
